The Ironback Jacket features moleskin-lined side pockets, chosen for their exceptional softness and durability. Moleskin, a densely woven cotton fabric with a suede-like texture, provides a warm, comfortable feel against the hands—perfect for cooler days. Beyond comfort, it reinforces the rugged utility of the jacket, ensuring the pockets withstand years of use. The Denim and Leather
Crafted from 13oz Turkish selvedge denim, this jacket will age beautifully over time. Turkey, unbeknownst to most, provides some of the most sought after denim in the world. Renowned for its durable cotton fibres, amazing balance of price and quality, and most importantly, their ethical way of treating its workers. Woven in small quantities on traditional shuttle looms, selvedge denim is an expensive and slow process, but provides for an extremely high quality, durable product.
Additionally, the bold leather accents come from inspirations in western clothing, having the traditional western yoke lined in full grain lambskin leather. Lambskin leather has a blend of softness and resilience, without being as thick and immobile as cowhide, allowing the Ironback to maintain a lightweight and versatile manner.
Adjustability
The Ironback was designed with a long day at work in mind, and making it as bearable as possible through maximising movability and comfort. The action back gussets allow for flexibility in the shoulder and armpit, areas that typically face design bottlenecks, resulting in tears and movability issues. Additionally, snap buttons feature on the cuffs and the rear waistband, which allow you to truly customise the fit of the jacket to any body type, whether you’ve been throwing around weight in the gym, or slimming down for summer.
